We’re excited to announce the new ways you can record the changes happening in your body! From new bowel movement trackers to extra mood trackers, this update brings you even more ways to log what’s going on both physically and mentally throughout your cycle. Read on to learn more about this update to one of our most-loved features…

Track your tummy troubles

Whether you’re all too familiar with the phenomena of period poop, or notice other changes to your digestion throughout the cycle, we know tummy troubles are very real for so many of us. In fact, a way to record changes to bowel movements has been one of our most frequently requested features. And so adding tummy trouble trackers was a no-brainer!

Now you can track gastric changes easily via the My Data page. Record constipation or diarrhea, and you can now also log nausea — a feature that was previously only available to pregnant Cyclers. Craving trackers have now also been released for everyone, so if you find yourself craving chocolate on your period you now have the option to log that too!

Monitor your mood more closely

We launched our first mood trackers before the pandemic, and it’s been a journey for everyone. We’re here for a frank and inclusive conversation about how we’re feeling, and so we’ve added five new mood trackers to the app, including feeling guilty and unfocused.

Of course, you can still log mood changes with more positive vibes, such as feeling energetic or confident. Tracking both positive and negative shifts in mood can be really helpful to help you get a better sense of your cycle and might even help you get a better understanding of PMS or PMDD symptoms

Pregnant Cyclers can now track movements

This next update we’re going is exclusive to NC° Follow Pregnancy. Expectant Cyclers can now track the movements of their baby. These special moments are precious and are a milestone that deserved to be marked all on their own! In addition, keeping an eye on the frequency of your baby’s movements can also help you learn more about your pregnancy.

From trackers to temperatures, we keep your data secure

Whether or not you use our trackers to record pain, mood, cervical mucus, or skin changes, we want you to know you’re doing it securely. At Natural Cycles your data is always protected and we never sell your data. Any studies we share about changes in mood or behavior are based on aggregate data of thousands of Cyclers. You can opt-in and out of being included in such research via Settings > Consent and permissions.

Thanks for joining us on this learning journey! Whether you're new to Natural Cycles or a veteran Cycler, we hope you’ll continue to track how you’re feeling, and this feature enhances your own unique experience of using the app. Not using Natural Cycles yet? Find out how it works to get started.
